Is Zorcha's free plan really unlimited?
Yes, with two carve-outs Zorcha states itself. Zorcha's free plan page on 30 September 2026 published unlimited automations, unlimited DMs and unlimited contacts at ₹0, and its own FAQ adds that Instagram's sending limits still apply and that AI replies spend credits, of which the free tier gets 15,000.
Taken at face value, the volume claim is real and HookSend does not match it: HookSend's Free plan stops at 2,500 DMs a month. What Zorcha's free tier withholds is the machinery rather than the volume — its comparison table on 30 September 2026 gave no flow builder, no Re Run, no follow-up sequences, no personalised DMs and no segments on Free. Zorcha's follow gate, which it calls Ask for Follow, is included free, where HookSend charges for it from Starter at $3.50 a month (₹99 in India). Neither company states whether its free tier expires.
How much does Zorcha cost in Indian rupees?
Free at ₹0, then Pro at ₹1,199 a month. Zorcha's India pricing page on 30 September 2026 showed Pro at ₹1,199 monthly, ₹899 quarterly and ₹799 annually; Ultimate at ₹2,999, ₹2,249 and ₹1,999; and Business at ₹8,999, ₹6,999 and ₹5,999, with Business sold through a conversation rather than a checkout.
Zorcha's dollar page carried the same four tiers and the same feature table on 30 September 2026, at $14.99, $39.99 and $109.99 a month, so the two pages differ only in currency. Against that, HookSend's Starter is $3.50 a month (₹99 in India) and Growth is $25 a month (₹899 in India). The comparison turns on what each plan is for: Zorcha sells unlimited DMs and charges for features and AI credits, and HookSend sells a DM allowance with the features included further down the range.

Worth being precise about: no Zorcha page we read on 30 September 2026 explains what a Data Source is or which file types it accepts, so this page does not claim Zorcha reads a PDF. The gap that matters is where the feature sits in each range rather than whether it exists: typed FAQ pairs answer the questions you predicted, and a document answers the ones you did not.
Does Zorcha trigger on Instagram Live comments or story mentions?
Neither, on any page we read. Zorcha's own triggers guide on 30 September 2026 listed four Instagram triggers — comments on a post or reel, someone sending a DM, replies to a story, and replies to an ad — and the phrases "story mention" and "Instagram Live" appeared on none of the Zorcha pages we checked.
HookSend triggers on both, plus the four Zorcha covers, which makes six. A story mention fires when somebody tags your account in their story, and a Live comment fires while you are broadcasting, and each is a separate Meta webhook rather than a variation on comments. If Zorcha has added either since, Zorcha's own pages are the place to confirm it; this page states only what those pages said on the day. Both tools cover click-to-message ads, which Zorcha sells as a product of its own.
Are Zorcha and HookSend both Meta Tech Providers?
Both, in identical words. Zorcha's own Meta page, read on 30 September 2026, states that Zorcha is a Meta Tech Provider, that Meta Tech Providers are approved to build technology connecting to Meta's platforms through official APIs, and that Zorcha connects using Meta's official authorization flow. HookSend is an approved Meta Tech Provider on the same basis.
Meta status is therefore no reason to prefer either tool, and a page claiming otherwise would be misleading. Both connect through Meta's OAuth screen rather than asking for an Instagram password, which is the part that protects an account. Meta's rules apply identically to both: one private reply per comment, a message only within 24 hours of the person's last message, no private reply to a comment over seven days old, and a professional Instagram account, which Zorcha's own FAQ also states.
Can Zorcha's MCP server send an Instagram DM?
Not to one person, on its published tool list. Zorcha's MCP page on 30 September 2026 listed tools that view workspaces, search automations, create, edit, duplicate, start, stop, draft and archive them, and configure messages, keywords, buttons and links. No inbox tool and no send-a-message tool appeared, so an assistant cannot compose a DM to a named follower through it.
Zorcha's connector is not read-only either, and calling it analytics would be wrong: full automation CRUD plus lifecycle control is a write interface. The difference is narrow and specific. HookSend's 63 tools include reading an inbox thread and sending a reply in it, so an assistant can answer one person. Both servers are remote and sign in over OAuth, both work with Claude, ChatGPT, Codex and Cursor, and Zorcha publishes its endpoint openly. Which Zorcha tier unlocks its MCP was not published.

Every Zorcha figure above came off Zorcha’s own public pages. The list below is what those pages did not answer, so no sentence on this page states it either. Where one of these matters to your decision, Zorcha is the only reliable source for it.
- How many Instagram accounts a Zorcha plan or bill covers. No account count appears on either pricing page, in the comparison table or on its agencies page; its MCP page shows accounts are grouped into workspaces and a plan applies per workspace, without a number.
- Whether Zorcha's Business-tier Data Sources accepts uploaded files, and which formats. No Zorcha page explains what a Data Source is, so this page does not claim it reads a PDF.
- Whether Zorcha's free plan expires or needs a card. Nothing on its pricing or free plan pages states an expiry, a trial length or a card requirement, and nothing states that it never expires either.
- Any time window on Zorcha's Re Run. Zorcha describes re-running an automation on older comments and publishes no age limit; Instagram's own seven day rule applies to every tool whether a vendor mentions it or not.
- Which Zorcha tier unlocks its MCP server, and which flow steps sit behind the Advanced label. Its pricing table has no MCP row, and its MCP page says only that features depend on your workspace plan.
